Vehicle shipping, can my vehicle have personal content?
One of the most asked questions we get from private customers is about our content policy.
We understand how difficult and expensive moving can be. We do our best to assist our customers enabling them to bring personal contents inside their vehicle. Please keep in mind that not all routes allow contents inside the vehicle.
To check our content policy in a specific route, contact your sales representative. We will be happy to help answering any questions you may have.
In routes where content is allowed, there are a few guidelines that need to be followed.
Personal content guidelines for sedan vehicles.
- Content MUST NOT weight more than 100 LBS (45 KG).
- The content must be secure and in the car’s trunk.
- Please note that content is not allowed in back or front seats.
- Content left in the vehicle is under customer’s risk, as it is not insured.
SUV content guidelines
- Content must not weight more than 100 LBS (45 KG).
- Remember the items must be secure and in the vehicle’s cargo area. None of the items should go over the window line.
- Content is not allowed in back or front seats.
- Any content left in the vehicle is left at customer’s own risk.
Guidelines for personal content in trucks
- Content must not weight more than 100 LBS (45 KG).
- Trucks are only allowed content behind seats if its single cab. Double cabs or crew cabs may put content on back seats. But note that none of the items should go over the window line.
- Absolutely no content is allowed inside a truck’s box.
Important notes
- Overloading the vehicle may lead to dry run fees, additional charges, delays or the cancellation of your order.
- Roof racks need to be discussed with your sales agent and pictures MUST be reviewed BEFORE accepting order.
- Content left in the vehicle is at customer’s risk.
